WCPM
Words Correct Per Minute
WCPM is the raw score of an Oral Reading Fluency probe: the total words read aloud in one minute minus errors (mispronunciations, omissions, substitutions, hesitations longer than 3 seconds). Hasbrouck & Tindal's (2017) compiled ORF norms provide 10th/25th/50th/75th/90th percentile bands for Grades 1-8 across fall, winter, and spring benchmark periods.
